The movie ‘Ithu Namma Aalu’ has been released after prolonged pending. Is it fulfilling our expectation?
Software employee Simbu has love affair with Andrea. But, they feel it hard and decide to way apart. At this juncture, Simbu’s father Jeyaprakash finds out Thajavur girl Nayanthara who is working in Chennai as a bride for Simbu. Simbu also likes the bride.
Simbu’s friend Suri raises suspicion about the character of Nayanthara. He approaches Santhanam to detect the love affair of Nayanthara. By knowing this Nayanthara get mental vehement but later becomes cool.
Gradually Simbu and Nayantara come close mentally and get engaged through phone. But, on the verge of marriage, the heavy tussle starts through the both of their fathers as they had drunken. This almost leads to the breakup of the marriage. What happened finally? What is the decision taken by lovers?
This movie is full of Simbu. In Most part of the movie, Simbu appears. He imaginarily lives with Nayanthara through this movie. If his love with Nayanthaara did not breakup, the life of Simbu would be like this film. He expresses his natural character and tries to draw the attention of all categories of the people. It seems to be worked out.
Nayanthara proves her professional dedication by showing affection towards Simbu in love scenes. But, at one point, their phonic love makes us to feel bore and tired. Though Andrea was not given much opportunity in this movie, her performance is romantic and cheerful. Suri’s role in this film is very powerful and effective. He always teases Simbu-Nayanthara couple. There are so many dialogues to be noted as examples.
Simbu benevolently bears that and also has coped-up with that. Santhanam makes suspense entry for friendship. Despite, the role of Jayaprakash (Simbu’s father) is effective and appreciable, there are some flaws. The parents of Nayanthara attract us much. But, there are some blemishes in the characterization of Nayanthara’s father.
Kuralarasan’s music and Simbu’s dance are only for Simbu’s fans. Pandiraj appears successful finally in his attempt that making the audience laughing through timing dialogues. At the end, this movie teaches us the lesson that there should not be the suspicion on character between the couples.
