Previously it is said that the movie ‘Irumugan’ will be released on 2nd September. It has been directed by Anand Shankar and having Vikram, Nayanthara and Nithya menon as protagonists. Now, they have postponed the release date to 8th September. It is said that as the censor process is yet to be completed, they have postponed the release date. But, there are tidings about another reason also.
This movie has been produced by a Malayalam producer Shibu Thameens. He has planned to release this movie in Andhra, Telangana and Kerala in a grand manner. But, the movie ‘Janatha Kaarej’ is set to be released on 2nd September in Kerala in a grand manner by Mohanlal.
Hence, Mohanlal approached Shibu Thameen and requested him to postpone the release date of Irumugan. Shibu Thameen could not reject this request and nodded. As Vikram movies will always be hailed in Kerala, Producer has taken this decision.
