A team headed by Ponvannan met election commissioner for an appeal on the behest of actors’ association. During the elections, local administrations of Tamil Nadu do not allow the drama artists to conduct their profession for more than 3 months. Hence, they are much affected as the drama is their only profession for survival. Ponvannan and his team explain this to election commissioner.
But, the election commission replied that there will be no ban on dramas. If there will be anything like this, we will ask to local administrations accordingly. Further, the election commission filed their appeal to actors’ association.
They appealedactors’ association to participate in the campaign to make people aware of voting without fail by applying their attractiveness among the people. Ponvannan and his team happily nodded for this and ensured about their participation.
