Plus and Minus factors of Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalvaniyum

Filmmaker Chimbu Devan has a penchant taste for experimenting with unique genre of movies and his filmography stands out as a great illustration to it. His first movie was a period comedy followed by a comedy-fantasy followed by a treasure hunt. Now, he gets in for a different show with ‘Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavaniyum’ that stars Arulnidhi, Bindu Madhavi, Ashrita Shetty and Bagavathi Perumal in lead roles. Scheduled for release on April 4, we bring you the plus and minus that scales on the expectations of audiences.

Plus

First and foremost, Chimbu Devan is a master of script and his screenplay travels without boredom. This has been evident from his debut film and the trailer gives a clear impression that this one is not going to be an exception.

For the first time, Arulnidhi has come out of a full-bound action packed roles and has toured into a different genre. Yes, you see him in casual wears and jeans, which is a special treat to his fans.
So far, Bindu Madhavi has appeared in traditional attires in her movies, but this is the first time we see her in a Tomboyish look and yes, she seems to have more scope to perform here.

Who can forget Bhagavathi, who created a sudden flow of laughter-riot in ‘Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom’? Of course, there’s more humour in combination with Arulnidhi in this film.

As Chimbu Devan has mentioned that Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavaniyum is going to be a race against time, which means it’s something like ‘Nick of Time’ that will keep the audiences on edge-of-seats.

Ashrita Shetty has already made a beautiful debut with ‘Udhayam NH 4’ and can expect some good performances in this film as well.

Minus

The promotional activities and publicity of this film isn’t scaling good heights when compared to other movies releasing this season.

The musical score is just an average fare. Usually, if a song becomes a hit, it guarantees 50% of the film’s success, but the tracks in this album remain far away from the spotlights.
