While Vijay Sethupathi gets ready for his upcoming film ‘Rummy’ that is scheduled for release on January 31, the actor has something special on his other project ‘Pannaiyaarum Padminiyum’ as well. Throwing some light on the film, he says, “The title itself has a clear significance that it’s all about Pannaiyar and a car named Padmini. My character becomes the connecting factor between these elements.”
When asked if he doesn’t feel stereotypical to be a part of rural based films over and again, he says, “Not at all. I am ready to do 10-15 rural based scripts, but I will make sure that they are unique in its own way.”
Pannaiyaarum Padminiyum is directed by Arun Kumar and is based on his short film with the same title.
