Actor Suriya and Gautham Vasudev Menon were supposed to work together in ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’. The film was launched in style and was expected to go on floors with full swing. Yesterday, Suriya has sent a letter to all media channels that he is no more working with Gautham Menon.
“It all happened before a year when Gautham Menon narrated an one-line script to me and I was not happy with the way he came upon. He never had a script in hand and wanted to start the shooting. Recently, he came up with some polished script, which was not impressive again. It is worth mentioning that the scenario was the same before few years, when we started ‘Chennaiyil Oru Mazhaikaalam’ and the shooting was stalled within 10 days. He promised of giving me the complete script after the launch of ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ and then suggested a test-shoot. I believed him on the basis of friendship, but he never showed up with the full script. Now, I have no options other than dropping this project as I had witnessed failures due to the fact of banking my hopes on directors and not the script”, says Suriya.
