There is no scarcity for heroes in Tamil cinema but at the same time comedians entering Tamil cinema is not happening often. However, some comedians appear rarely. The new comer in this category is Kali Venkat. Initially, he appeared in small roles and gradually he himself became developed. The movie ‘Mundaasupatti’, was turning point for him.
Recently, he perfectly performed in the movies like ‘Iruthichutru’ and ‘Miruthan’. Following this, he has acted in Vijay’s ‘Theri’. “They called me for performing as a police in ‘Theri’. At that juncture, ‘Maari’ and ‘Miruthan’ had not been released. So, I hesitated to act in a police character in ‘Theri’ too and explained my situation. But, they never bother about it. Hence, I happily accepted the offer to cast with popular hero Vijay”, Kali Venkat uttered.
