Vaani Kapoor has become the latest sensation of Kollywood much prior to her debut film ‘Aaha Kalyanam’ would hit screens. The actress made her debut in Yash Raj Film’s maiden production ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ and this is her second outing for the same banner. While interacting Behind Frames on her entry into films, she said, “I am an inexperienced actress without any film background. I have never been to any acting schools. But I have been making use of the opportunities that are coming my way. It has been a great pleasure to work with a team that is so friendly and I want to work with him over and again”
The film is a remake of blockbuster Hindi movie ‘Band Bajaa Baraat’ that is simultaneously made in Tamil and Telugu with the title ‘Aaha Kalyanam’. The film stars Nani in the lead role and is about a young boy and girl starting a wedding planner management. However, when they fall in love, their egoistic clashes are brought into the front seat leaving them separated.
