GETHU – REVIEW

Udhayanithi, who works as a librarian in Kumuli (situated in Tamilnadu – Kerala border). His father Sathyaraj works as a P.T. Master in a school. Sathyaraj complains to the police regarding the bar which is running by Mime Gopi. Reciprocally, Mime Gopi locks the house of Sathyaraj, and brings him to his bar and assaults him. But, Udhayanithi intrudes in this scene and attacks Villain.

As they admonished Mime Gopi to be killed if he opens the bar again, Sathyaraj comes under police arrest after the murder of Mime Gopi by unknown persons within few days. Udhayanthi comes across about the external conspiracy of killing the librarian through Vikranth, while he is struggling to save his father. How he could overcome this great problem? – That is climax…!

By having good experience through previous movies, Udhayanithi has improved his acting talent. However, he is not perfectly fit for serious role. Comedy heroism is good option for him. Moreover, Emi Jackson’s performance and role are not coping up with this film.

But, Sathyaraj has done his job very well. He is a good father…! Director utilized him perfectly. Vikranth’s role in this film is villain. But it is not an impressive one.

The work of camera man Sugumar is supportive one for this film. No special features in the music of Haris Jeyaraj. But, director Thirukkumaran had stepped in with a different story. If the screen play would be made interesting, the film would have been energetic.
