Kanithan review

Atharva is working as a reporter in an unpopular television. He wishes to join in a popular television as a reporter. Meanwhile, he falls in love with his present CEO’S daughter Catherine Teresa and he also gets an offer from his desirable (BBC) television.

Unfortunately, he becomes victim of being trapped in a bank fraud case by using his certificates for getting bank loan. Police arrests him with other 5 suspects for their alleged fraud on education loan. At first, Atharva gets confusion accordingly.

But, later, he realizes that not only his certificate but also the certificates of so many youths have been taken in fraudulent manner to claim the education loan from banks.

Was Atharva emerged successful by catching out the culprits? Could he able to work with his favorite BBC channel? Could he able to conquare the love with Catherine Teresa? – That is climax.

Atharva excellently has done his job well particularly in the fight scenes! Though there is vogue in the characterization (for heroine) of Catherine Teresa, she attracts us by her cute performance.

Comedians Karunakaran, Sundar Ramu, Villain Dharun Araro and character artist Baghyaraj are not making mistakes and they have reciprocated for their selection. Drums Sivamani’s music is ok. The work of camera man Arvind Krishna is superb. But, the climax is shocking us. It has deviated from its main path. There are so many logical flaws also in this film.

But, the main strength of this movie is its speed. Acceptable gap, free climax and climax scenes are appreciable. Director Santhosh deserves to be congratulated for applause scenes.
