Thalaivaa
After a long time, Vijay gets back to the pavillion of setting up with a socio-commercial film. The film is directed by AL Vijay with Amala Paul starring opposite Vijay in female lead role. The musical score by G.V Prakash is already a hit and the film is getting released with more prints across the globe. The Telugu version of this film is titled as ‘Anna – Born to lead’.
Biriyani
Following the grand success of Mankatha, Venkat Prabhu sets his foot into his favourite genre of suspense-thriller laced with humour. The film stars Karthi and Hansika Motwani in lead roles with Yuvan Shankar Raja as the composer. Touted to be a script laced with a lot of twists and turns, the humour quotients by Premgi Amaran is expected to be a major highlight in this film. Since it is 100th project by Yuvan Shankar Raja, the music director is leaving no stone unturned over nurturing this project. Biriyani is produced by K.E. Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green Films and is scheduled for release on September 6.
Arrambam
It’s the most expected film of this season as Ajith Kumar didn’t have any releases for nearly more than a year. It was Billa-2 that hit screens on July 13, 2012 and now it looks like Arrambam is scheduled for release by mid of September. ‘It’s going to be a sleek and racy thriller and more engaging than our Billa’, says Vishnuvardhan. The film has sizzling Nayanthara opposite Ajith Kumar in female lead with Arya in other lead character alongside Taapsee. Yuvan Shankar Raja has affirmed that it’s going to be a tremendous album.
Raja Rani
The first look teaser made garnered huge response across all the territories and even the Bollywood praised it for the beautiful portrayal. The film is directed by debutant Atlee with Arya, Nayanthara, Jai and Nazriya Nazim in lead roles. GV Prakash has composed music with Fox Star Studios and AR Murugadoss producing the film.
Kochadaiyaan
Superstar Rajnikanth fans are curiously awaiting the film’s release for more than a year. The actor had gone through several health issues, but came back and completed the project. The film is a 3D Animation Motion Capture film, which is going to be made for the first time in Indian film industry. Soundarya Rajnikanth keeps her fingers crossed pertaining to the film’s success. Deepika Padukone makes her debut in Tamil industry through this film and AR Rahman scores music.
Vishwaroopam – 2
The battle has not ended and it’s going to get bigger with the second part now. Kamal Haasan has almost completed shooting for this film that is happening at full swing. Gibran has been signed to score music for this film and the other replacement is cinematographe Sanu Varghese by Shamdat Sainudeen. A major portion of this film has been shot in India. This sequel chronicles the family and romance quotients of Kamal Haasan.
