Vijay Sethupathi has been making a good time in Kollywood with more releases in a year. Following ‘Soodhu Kavvum’ and ‘Idharkuthaane Aasaipattai Balakumara’, the actor’s other film ‘Rummy’ was supposed to get released on December 27 with the release rights acquired by SK Corporation in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. However, with the distributors and exhibitors feeling that there needs to an enough time for a good movie to run in theatres. Apparently, the film’s release has been postponed to January 24 after the release of Ajith Kumar’s Veeram and Vijay’s Jilla on January 14 for the festive occasion of Pongal.
