Although, they didn’t have any romantic scenes, their screen presence was good enough to steal the attention of audience.
Nivin Pauly & Nazriya Nazim – Neram
This was a surprise to the entire industry as the young pair made a sudden appearance on the screens without any prior details. Yes, their chemistry was highly talked about in the industry soon after the ‘First Day First Show’. The pairhad already appeared together in a Malayalam album ‘Yuvvh’.
Vishal & Lakshmi Menon – Pandiya Nadu
Director Susintheeran had created some poetic scenes between this pair that was laced with humour. There were not much scenes together and yet it was well received by the audience. The duo is coming together again for another film ‘Naan Sigappu Manithan’.

Jiiva & Trisha – Endrendrum Punnagai
The film arrived late by the end of year, but has created a huge celebration of youth as they were simply stylish. Thanks to the director Ahmad, costume designer and cinematographer. The relationship between Jiiva and Trisha was very well depicted.
Kamal Hassan & Pooja Kumar – Vishwaroopam
An unusual pair indeed!!! When the stars came together, the expectation bloomed up pertaining to their looks and of course, the teaser of their romantic quotients in second part – Vishwaroopam II has got us more enthusiastic to catch them up in 2014.
Karthi & Kajal Aggarwal – All in All Azhagu Raja
