THANGAMAGAN
This is just an old style story in which the son proves the genuineness of his father.

Dhanush parts way with Emi Jackson as their relationship struggles by misunderstandings in his adolescent stage. His father K.S.Ravikumar works in income tax office and later he helped his son to get job in his office itself. The marriage of Dhanush with Samantha was held by parents.

As K.S.Ravikumar misses the bribe money of his higher official Jayaprakash, he and his son lose their job simultaneously. As a result of this, Ravikumar commits suicide. How Dhanush emerges successful in his attempt of proving the innocence of his father – It is climax!

Dhanush has stepped in to the new effort as a family inclined boy in this film. His rogue dialouges are absent in this film. At the same time, he proved his talent very well accordingly.

His early love with Emi Jackson makes us to feel that is it Selvaragavan film? This love concept is much sensual provocative. Samanthaa’s new dimension as a typical family lady (wearing only saree) looks very different and pleasurable.

Comedy conversation between Dhanush and Satheesh is appreciable. While k.S.Ravikumar, Radhika, Aaathith and Jayaprakash are playing their part well, Anirudh’s contribution for this film is not much better.

This film resembles some scenes from ‘VIP’ movie. Director Velraj has concentrated on effective family story with avoiding puch dialogues and enlivened turning points.
