A leading Tamil magazine has unveiled a synopsis of Superstar Rajnikanth’s upcoming film ‘Lingaa’ that is directed by KS Ravikumar. According to the reports, Lingaa is a period film is set in backdrops of 1895 and Rajnikanth plays dual role with Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Shetty playing female lead roles. There is a particular scene in the film, where a British shoots down the Indian flag and that stirs an infuriation in Rajnikanth and he lashes out them back in English lines that turns everyone in astonishment. Initially, it was heard that Dev Singh Gill plays a baddie, but an extremist fighting against the British rule. But Rajnikanth who is appointed by British to raise a dam doesn’t fight against him for he is a good man and his values are honest.
