We know that veteran actor Sivakumar has excellent memory power. He memorized whole KambaRamayanam and recited it without interruption for 2 hours and then he memorized whole Mahabharatham and delivered it in the same way for two hours. Now, he has decided to memorize whole Thirukkural to recite uninterruptedly.
“Lot of my friends suggests me to deliver about Jesus and Quran. Despite, I have respect on Jesus and Quran, as great features, Grammars, Literatures and Philosophies are being accumulated in Tamil, I give preference to our own assets. In this regard, my next target is Thirukkural.
Thirukkural is the only literature in the world to concentrate about ‘Humanity’ without any religious or ethnical affiliations. Hence, I chose Thirukkural. As this is a toughest target, it will take 4 or 5 years to be accomplished”, Sivakumar told.
