Despite, Simbu’s movie ‘PodaPodi’ garnered good support from youths, it failed to collect huge amount as it competed with Vijay’s ‘Thuppakki’. At this juncture, Simbu once again decided to face Vijay.

The movie ‘Theri’ has increased the expectations of the fans. It has set to be released on 14th April. Simbu also decided to release his long pending movie ‘Ithu Namma Aalu’ at the same date. The official announcement is expected to be released soon.
As there is good friendship between Simbu and Vijay, it is doubtful that Simbu will release his film at the same date. If it will happen, we can say that Simbu takes risk once again.
