While Rajnikanth’s Kochadaiiyaan is making good rounds in box office, the actor is on full swing shooting of his other film ‘Lingaa’ with the same team of KS Ravikumar and AR Rahman. The actor has now completed the first leg of shooting (20%) at Mysore and Hyderabad. The next schedule will commence shortly by next week. The film is set in backdrops of two different time periods, one at 1940s and other one is the present age. The following schedule will have the modern day Rajnikanth along with Anushka, Santhanam, Karunakaran and others. Dev Gill who appears in the 1940s portion has expressed his intense joy of being a part of Rajnikanth film. Dev Gill had earlier made a stellar performance in many movies that include SS Rajamouli’s Magadheera, Vijay’s Sura and Mohanlal’s Mr. Fraud.
