Nee Enge En Anbe movie review

203

A lot of compatibilities pre-exist much before you have the first scene ‘Nee Enge En Anbe’ and its original version ‘Kahaani’. The genius filmmaker, the master of simple content and decorous narration picks up this flick that has ‘script’ that forms an intriguing element. When her husband goes missing, Anamika (Nayantara) comes to Hyderabad with a blind chance running against time in search of him. The helpless lady gets acquainted with a young cop (Vaibhav) who joins her in the pursuit. Discombobulations rise as mysterious men try to bump her off and the arrival of CBI officer (Pasupathy) results in more twist and turns in the tale.

Nayantara, the blessing to every film endows her due best enhancing the script-diversion attempt of Shekar Kammula. Her emoting gestures are apt to the role she plays. Vaibhav finally gains a film that actually projects to be his debut film. He is perfect in his job. Pasupathy is a special delight and he keeps strengthening the film from his part. Others in the cast that includes, sharpshooter disguised as courier man, small boy calling upon Nayan as sister, the desolated husband who is almost considered an imaginary entity and many more contribute their uttermost energy into the script.

The background score is quite impressive as it enhances the visual elements. The shot-cuts on editing and placement of camera angles across the busiest lanes of Hyderabad are a crown-task. There isn’t much to talk about the minus here. Everything looks start and Shekar Kammula conveys everything to the point without any exaggeration (except few places). The songs look little odd on its placement and the screenplay seems to be little elongated over the time, sending us little restless.

Overall, Nee Enge En Anbe could be a better watch for ones who haven’t watched ‘Kahaani’. If you’re too wizardry in films, this one might not impress you on comparisons. Watch it as a fresh flick and there are chances to move on edge-of-seats.

Verdict: The search of guess is perfect…
