The movie ‘Ko’ was produced by R.S.Infortainment in 2011 and contributed by Jeeva and Prakashraj in the direction of K.V.Anand. Its second part has been produced in the direction of debut director Sarath having Bobby Simha and Prakash as protagonists. Nikki Kalrani is the heroine of this film. This second part was produced also by the same company.
Leon James has worked as the music director for this political thriller. He is the son of Noyel James who is working as the manager of A.R.Rahman for the past 20 years. Producer Elred Kumar has planned to release this movie on 13th May. As the Assembly election of Tamil Nadu is scheduled to be held on 16th May, they have intended to release this political based movie before the election.
The first part of ‘KO’ was released 5 years ago just after one week of Tamil Nadu Assembly election of 2011. That was super hit movie. Now, its second part is going to be released just 3 days ahead of Assembly election of 2016. As they think that if they release this political based movie after election, it may face hurdles. Hence, they have decided to release it ahead of election.
