Karthi has taken scrupulous efforts on exerting the best spell with his upcoming film ‘Madras’. Unlike his previous films, this one would be an unconventional milestone in his career. The film is directed by Attakathi fame Ranjith and is produced by K.E. Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green Films. Catherine Tresa plays the female lead role opposite Karthi and there are bunch of newcomers in important roles. The stylish theatrical trailer and fascinating songs by Santosh Narayanan have created a huge buzz for the film. The film was initially planned to be released by August and is now getting ready to hit screens on October 2 on National holiday of Gandhi Jayanthi. Since it would be a long weekend holiday, the film will surely have a grand opening.
