If the first film met with failure for some actresses, their fate will be sealed as unlucky. But, popular ex-actress Radha’s daughter Karthika attained good popularity through her debut movie ‘KO’. When most of the people were expecting about her bright future, her following movies ‘Annakkodi’ (Bharathiraja) and ‘Purampokku’ (Jananaathan) were met with failure. Her younger sister Tulasi also closed his career with only two films.
Though Karthika tried hard for further chances, she got nothing. But, TV chance knocked her door from North India. She has to cast as heroine in that. She did not hesitate to accept that chance. The script writer of that serial is Bagubali’s script writer Vijayendra Prasath. It is expected that there will be an announcement from Karthika stating that there is no difference between cinema and TV.
