In the past, the actors will participate in the functions of other movies though they did not perform in those movies. But, today, the actors do not participate even in promotion functions of their own movies. Despite, producers insist of the importance of attending the promotion program of the movies, some actress do not bother about that.
Nayanthara did not attend the promotion function of ‘Ithu Namma Aalu’, ‘Thani Oruvan’ and ‘Thirunaal’. Some days back, she avoided the audio release function of ‘Irumugan’. Likewise, the other protagonist of that movie Nithyamenon did not participate too.
Actress Thamanna avoided the audio release function of ‘Dharmadurai’. ‘Kabali’ heroine Radhika Apthe failed to participate in the promotion functions of that film. For this, she had apologized. Samantha avoided to participate in her movie’s (24) function. Cine field association members are in discussion to find out the solution for making heroines to attend the promotion functions.
