Sam Anton makes his debut directorial with the film ‘Darling’ that will be the first release of GV Prakash’s film as an actor. The film is produced by K.E. Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green Films and Allu Aravind of Geetha Arts. As known earlier, the film is a remake of famous Telugu movie ‘Prema Katha Chitram’ that had performed good results in Telugu and Kannada version as well. Nikki Galrani has been signed opposite GV Prakash in female lead with Karunaas, Bala and Naan Kadavul Rajendaran playing important roles. Speaking about the film, director Sam Anton says, “Although, Darling is regarded as the remake of Prema Katha Chitram, it will not be completed as same as the original version. We have just taken the plot from the original version, but the treatment will be completely different. We have worked a lot on technical and narrative enhancements.”
