Kakka Muttai Movie Review

Nothing seems to be breaking the spirit of certain filmmakers, where they keep making their best efforts in rendering offbeat films with best treatment. Although, the commercial movies are making the winning moments, cinematographer-turned-filmmaker Manikandan comes up with something unique that has already garnered huge incredible acclaims across the globe.

How can this movie be described? A cute, little, thought-provoking, feel good, 100% original movie that will retain the smiling curves on your face from start till end. And you will never miss out on the final claps during the climax of the film. You will also notice bunch of smiles from those who exit the screens on watching the film.

You will be awestruck if you know the one line of the film. That’s as simple as that – 2 little brothers from the slum desire to eat pizza. Did they achieve and what they tried for the same and what happened at last are journeyed through the running minutes of the film.

The casting of the film is a major plus of the movie with Ramesh and Vignesh rocking the screens. Mother of these two cute boys is played by Ishwarya who has best suited her role as well. You cannot miss out to have a note on the grandmother role played by a granny actress who is well remembered when thought about the film. The movie has not missed anything in its story thread and has kept everything fulfilled and achieved in delivering what it intended to.

Joe Malloori has played a character role in the film in the name Pazharasam and grabs our heart with his warmth showered on the kids. Each of the dialogue by Anand Kumaresan has won our hearts and GV. Prakash’s scores are incomparable.

Late Kishore can be well remembered for his masterpiece work in this film. This script is well handled by his editing leaving no stone unturned in making it a decently paced film.

Kudos to the director Manikandan for having gifted the audience with such an incredible film.

Verdict: Fabulous showpiece
