Anand Krishnan has been directed the movie ‘Metro’. In this movie, Bobby Simha accompanies with new face (debut) Sirish. Maya (Darling 2) is the heroine of this film. This movie is about the chain snatching incidents which are occurring often in Chennai.
Censor board initially refused to provide certificate for this film as it is full of violence and teaches about the techniques of chain snatching. But, it was sent again and got ‘A’ certificate. This movie is set to be released on 24th June.
“This movie depicts the reality on how the snatchers emerge? How the families of losers are struggling? What is role of police and illegal gold smuggling groups in these incidents?” director Anand Krishnan told.
He further added that I suggested censor board to provide ‘A’ certificate even before watching the film. But, they initially refused to provide certificate for some reasons. We explained our stand as much as possible. But, they did not heed. Hence, we sent it again for censor. This time, we got ‘A’ certificate without any hindrance. As there was delay for one month, we lost few lakhs unnecessarily.
