Vijay Antony has performed in the film named ‘Pichaikaaran’ having Sasi as director. Lyricist Logan has written the social awareness song ‘Paazhaa pona ulagathula kaasu panam perusu’ for this film. This song has been made as promotion song for this film. But, some doctors’ associations have registered their dissent on this song as this has some contradictory words regarding ‘quota’.
In his statement, Vijay Antony explained that Lyricist Logan did not write the song in the notion of disgracing the doctors from backward classes. It is to be noted that Logan and the singer of this song Velmurugan are from the backward class too.
He further added that please not try to accuse us by noticing few words. If you once hear the song completely, you could understand the whole scenario of that song. In a bid to provide the clear dimension of this song, we have removed the word ‘quota’ and replaced it with the word ‘Kaasu Koduthu’. If someone feels hurt by this song, I am the responsible for explaining to anyone behalf of ‘Pichaikaaran’ team.
