Late writer Sujatha has been one of the major reasons behind the success of Shankar’s movies for his research into unique themes and concepts. Now couple of his novels – En Iniya Iyanthira and Meendum Jeeno is getting adapted on the screens with the technology of virtual production. If you’re wondering what this ‘Virtual Production’ is all about, you can have a glimpse on movies like 300 and Sin City. Siddarth, director of Pixel Kraft affirms that En Iniya Iyanthira will commence first and will be made at a whopping budget of Rs.40Crores in the time span of 18 months. The casting of actors is happening and the visuals will be a combustion method of something beyond usual paradigms of Blue Matt and so on. Major portions of the film will be shot using the technology at Pixel Kraft’s studio at Chennai and some complex sequences at Centroid Motion Capture, where some of the Hollywood’s best movies like Pirates of the Caribbean, Iron Man 2 and Kochadaiiyaan.
