The shooting of Superstar Rajnikanth’s Lingaa has been happening at full swing and the second schedule will commence from next week. While the first schedule had the scenes involving the 1940s’ backdrop, there were some power-packed action sequences shot between Rajnikanth and baddie Dev Gill. Unfortunately, the latter got injured, but was immediately back to the sets. He said that Rajnikanth was so much inspiring on the sets and working with him is like a kid enlightened in school. The action packed scene was like shooting over the train and a huge set was erected at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. The film is directed by KS Ravikumar and is produced by Rock Line Venkatesh with Eros International releasing it all over the world. AR Rahman is scoring music and Rathnavelu is handling cinematography. Anushka Shetty and Sonakshi Sinha are playing the female lead roles with Santhanam, Karuna and Balaji (Sachin fame) taking care of humour quotients.
