Vijaysethupathi-Gayathri pair performed together already in the movies ‘Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom’ and ‘Rammi’. They once again joined for the third time in ‘Puriyaadha Pudhir’. It was directed by Ranjith Jeyakodi. They initially named it as ‘Mellisai’ and later changed the name as ‘Puriyaadha Pudhir’.
