As the issue of Illayaraja’s notice to SPB is getting furor, the lyricist Madhan karky has responded Ilayaraja and expressed his views. In his response he stated that the royalty of a song can not only go to music director but also for lyricist and producer.
“If we take Illayaraja’s stand as right, he should also get permission to sing his songs in outside functions. My view is that he might have called them (SPB & Chithra) through phone instead of sending notices” uttered Madhan karky.
