When it comes to Hollywood movies, it more of action, fantasy and horror movies that create huge sensation in India, but sometimes the rare genre like ‘Gone Girl’ is always a specialty that creates sudden surprise in the box office. ‘Gone Girl’ was released along with ‘Annabelle’, but to a surprise the much expected latter film was eclipsed by former one. The film is about a man’s wife disappearance having become the focus of an intense media circus, a man sees the spotlight turned on him when it’s suspected that he may not be innocent. The film is directed by David Fincher with Ben Affleck, Rosamund Pike and Neil Patrick Harris playing the lead roles. The film is based on the novel with same title penned by Gillian Flynn who has written the screenplay for this film as well. Having watched the film, the entire Kollywood is stunned over the brilliant crafting of story and surpassing performance by the actors.
