Kamal Haasan’s Papanasam created a record by completing the entire shooting in just 38 days. The film is directed by Jeethu Joseph who earlier made the original version Drishyam starring Mohanlal and Meena in lead roles. Now as Kamal Haasan was busy occupied with the post-production works of Uthama Villain in USA, he came back recently and has now continued to dub for Papanasam. While Thirrupathi Brothers and Sony Music has officially announced that the music of Uthama Villain would be launched shortly, we hear that the makers of Papanasam are keen on getting the film released by February or only in summer as a vacation treat. Gauthami plays Kamal Haasan’s wife and Nivetha Thomas as their eldest daughter.
