The film’s last day shooting was held recently and it was about a sequence of funeral and Lakshmi Ramakrishnan played the deceased. She had the portfolio of narrating the sequence as well and things turned more emotional. “It wasn’t for the fact that it was a funeral scene, but the last day on the sets as we all felt more emotional,” says Lakshmi Ramakrishnan who continues to add that her daughter had accompanied on this day and got more upset seeing her mom as a deceased person. With the film featuring a 82-yr old woman in lead role, this had made things fascinating more for this movie ‘Ammani’, which is close on the heels of completing the post-production works and will have the theatrical release shortly.
