It is such a black day in the history of Indian cinema as the most celebrated iconic filmmaker, screenwriter and multi-faceted personality of Indian Cinema – K Balachander has passed away before few minutes. The director made his maiden debut with Neer Kumizhi in 1965 and from then, there was no turning back for him. His films spoke of newfangled ideas, bold and staunch themes that shocked and surprised many across the globe.
K Balachander was someone who could render the stunning masterpieces. He was someone who discovered the hidden avatars in a person, believed and showcased them to the world. He has been predominantly ennobled as the GOD FATHER of World’s most celebrated actors Superstar Rajnikanth and Kamal Haasan.
As a human, he is the friendliest person to three different generation of actors and technicians. He breathed cinema till his last days, where he plays the mentor of Kamal Haasan in his upcoming film Uthama Villain.
It is a great pleasure to see such rare personalities enjoying the privilege of being in cinema for years and breathing their last with it.
