
It is also a children’s movie again! The news shocks the father Suresh that the financial aid from the foreign country is going to halt as he is running a centenary school. In a bid to safeguard the assistance, he arranges the ‘Jesus’ drama in the school annual festival to please the father from Vatican.
Four new students were denied to participate in this drama by the father, while old students are preparing for rehearsal. But, the new team assures the father that they will bring the original baby for the scene in which Infant Jesus is born and successfully pacified the father to participate in the drama.
But, the new team faces some hurdles in bringing an original baby in the days to come. In the meantime, the child which was spotted by them in the shore of river Coovam, also abandons them and goes to orphanage. In the outcome of continuous dashing hopes, they decide to abduct a child with the help of their friend who is staying in the orphanage. What happened? – That is the climax.
Though it is a complete child subject movie, the father of 3 female children Karunaas who is very eager for a male child for fourth, the Eazham couple Akil-Rithvika who lost their child in a bomb blast, the couple Sethan-Vinodhini who is longing for a child, a college girl who gives a birth to a child illegally, Thambi Raamaiah who runs the orphanage, the father who always wish for the welfare of his school; this movie touches the various aspects regarding child and offers the resolution also.
Despite, the performance of the 5 school children is overdose, it finally upholds our curiosity. Karunaas perfectly proved his talent as a character artist. Thambi Raamaiah, Father Suresh and the college girl have all played their part very well. This movie crosses the border of a child movie. But, there are some logical flaws. How can a father allow the children to bring an original child for a drama?
It is advisable to avoid a violent manner among the school children in some cases. Director Charles tried his level best to make this movie as a movie for children. We may assure that this would be looked up to by the children.
