Sigaram Thodu music review

D Imman, the brand has been scaling great heights and indeed has become an intriguing part of a film’s success. A sense of ethnicity is always present in his musical spell. Sigaram Thodu creates a new season of D Imman as the songs offers different and unique flavours capturing our senses. Here is a small look into the songs of Sigaram Thodu songs.

Takku Takku

Vocals: Varun Parandhaman & Anthony Daasan

Lyrics: Madhan Karky

The song is a stylish number with singers Varun and Anthony Dasan coming up with commendable vocalisms. The song is mediocre in many parts, but the visuals should get some prominence to the track. But the rhythmic approach of D Imman is catchy and Anthony Daasan sounds perfect.

 Pidikuthe

Vocals: Jithin Raj & Shreya Ghoshal

Lyrics: Yugabharathi

Obviously, it’s a decorous melody that comes from Jithin Raj and Shreya Ghoshal. The lyrical lines of Yugabharathi stir a penchant feel of love and the composition by Imman is cool.  Shreya Ghoshal becomes the showstopper here and her mellisonant tune is so captivating.

Scenu Scenu

Vocal: Aranarai Natraj, Tha Prophecy

Lyrics: Gaana Bala

Okay! It’s an enjoyable track and when Gaana Bala has written the lyrics, there is always some funny stuffs involved in it. But overall when it comes to composition, it is quite average and might grab the attention of front benchers in theatres.

Anbulla Appa

Vocal: Dr. KJ Yesudas

Lyrics: Yugabharathi

Kudos to each and everyone involved in this song!!! Not often we get to see such songs and this number based on father-son relationship is so heart-touching and keeps us enchanted throughout. Specifically with KJ Yesudas mesmerizing us with his voice and the instrumental portions have been very well done by Imman.

Sigaram Thodu

Vocals: Benny Dayal, Santosh Hariharan, Snighdha Chandra

Lyrics: Madhan Karky

Madhan Karky has made use of several phrases that remains close to the theme of Sigaram Thodu, but the musical part is little mediocre. The singers have done their part well, but the song remains middling. Maybe, the situations on visuals might intensify the song.

On the whole, Sigaram Thodu songs are done with a neat panache and it comprises of laudable songs from D Imman. The lyricists have played a significant role in enhancing the songs indeed.

Verdict: Pleasant and decorous.
