SAAGASAM – REIVEW

This film provides the greatest disappointment for the people who eagerly go to the theatres to watch the Prasanth movie after a long gap.

Prasanth’s role for this film is a youth who is very fond of cricket betting. He helps police at one occasion to trap the criminal (Sonu Sood), who is trying to abduct the amount of Rs.1500 crores from the bank. Hence, the police send Prasanth to Coimbatore with his family to save his life from the villain. The police also hold the drama in which Prasanth dies, to divert the attention of the villain.

Prasanth meets his heroine Amenda in Coimbatore and spends time with her happily. When Sonu sood comes to Coimbatore, he notices Prasanth and owes to revenge him and his family. He plans to fly abroad after accomplishing his task. How, Prasanth manages to come out of this danger without the help of police even they tend to help Prasanth – That is the climax.

Despite, Prasanth is an active and talented; there should be the suitable story. It leads us to think that whether Prasanth and his father Thiyagarajan regularly watch the Tamil movies for the last five years or not.

They have brought the heroine Amanda from Australia. That’s all to say. Nasser, Thambi Ramaiah and M.S.Baskar were deprived of their talents. Totally three songs are good in the music of Thaman.

This film is a remake from Telugu. If the Telugu hero Allu Arjun watches this remake, he will once again step in to remake it. We should not raise our finger against the director Arunraj Varma as he was put as a dummy.

We appreciate Prasanth’s re-entry and his father’s efforts of buying successful films from other languages. But, at the same time, they need to be updated about the changing trends.
