It’s a rarity to see such films based on animals made in Tamil Cinema. Earlier, it was late director-producer Rama Narayanan who made such movies with elegance and now director Shakti Soundar Rajan has opted for a unique film of this genre. The Belgian Shepherd in the lead role alongside Sibiraj has raised a good level of expectation. Moreover, Dharan has exerted a decent level of efforts to give some best songs in this album.
Doggy Style

Gana Bala has offered some funny lines that exhibit the hero values of a Dog and the composition by Dharan, especially ‘Doggy Doggy Doggy Style’ is done with a beautiful panache. The song should bring more fun on the faces with the visuals… The lines by Madhan Karky are simple and kids would easily take in the lines.
En Nenjil
Singer: Naresh Iyer
Usually when there is a film based on Dog, there would be a sort of doubt whether romance for human characters and other drama is possible. But everything is so perfect with the song that includes the lines Kadhalenum Sangaliyai Kattinaai. The lyricist wants to be clear that the song never travels anywhere out, but is focused on the theme of Dog. Naresh Iyer has done a marvelous job with such a mesmerising voice. The interludes and sound mixing is so extraordinary.
Oyaathe Oyaathe (Bhoomi Sutrum)
Singer: Haricharan
The song starts off with melodious flute followed by fast paced beats on percussion. The song slightly travels on the lines of Nimirndhu Nil from Saroja, but to a less degree. But the vocalism by Haricharan and the computerised works on instrumentals add some good intensity.
Man’s Best Friend – Theme Music
There are lots of elements in the song and visually when conveyed, it would surely bring different emotions among the audiences. The flute and violins are so much outstanding.
Doggy Style – Club Mix

The club mix has been enjoyably done by Dharan and it should soon become the favourite number on the dance floors.
On the whole, every song in the Naaigal Jaakirathai is so much enjoyable and has a new experience. It is surprising that Sibiraj makes a promising comeback with a perfect team. If you’re looking out for our final verdict, we would say 75% of the film’s result is already pre-written, it’s a special celebration in theatres.
