KarthikSubburaj’s film ‘Iraivi’ was taken by giving importance to women. This film was appreciated by various sides and the appreciation function from the women wing of PeriyarDiravidarKazhagam was held in Coimbatore. When addressing this function, director KarthikSubburaj told that as a director I feel happy. My film gets appreciation for the first time. Though this was not commercially successful, now, I forget that sorrow.
According to the words of Vijaysethupathi, “It provides happy while seeing the supporters for the concept of the film. Women feel easily the life which has love and understanding. But, that should be realized by the men also. Sharing should be placed in life. This film tried to exhibit the truth that the traditional thoughts about women are not true” he told.
