Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi was reported of playing an extended cameo in the film ‘Vada Chennai’ starring Dhanush and Amala Paul in lead roles. The film is directed by Vetrimaaran, who is collaborating with Dhanush after the National award winning film ‘Aadukalam’.
The shooting of this film kick-started by end of last year, but didn’t have a clear flow of scheduling as it was shelved and suddenly resumed. During this interim, Vijay Sethupathi who accepted to be a part of this project couldn’t make it completely due to the lack of call sheet and he stepped out of the project. Apparently, the actor is now replaced by director Ameer, who has got onboard with the project.
