The first film in the combination of Ajith-director Siva was ‘Veeram’. As this film was successful, they again joined in ‘Vedaalam’. It was also super hit. Hence, they have decided to join for third time also. It is Ajith’s 57th film and produced by Sathyajothi Films Thiyagarajan.
As Ajith undergone leg surgery after ‘Vedalam’, he was in rest for past few months. Since, the shooting of his 57th film was postponed. At this juncture, the shooting of this movie kick starts on 7th July (Thursday). As the Thursday sentiment generally works out for Ajith, they start the shooting on Thursday.
Despite, they yet to decide the heroine of this film, Anushka is almost confirmed. The same technical team of Siva works in this film also. Music director Anirudh joins once again with Ajith after ‘Vedalam’. Vetri is the camera man. It is expected that this movie would be released for 2017 Pongal festival.
