A sequel to Aranmanai on cards?

Sundar C’s latest release Aranmanai has seen an incredulous success in box office exceeding the expectations of the makers themselves. The film had a simple plot with the peck of horror and plethora of commercial ingredients. The film starred Sundar C, Hansika Motwani, Vinay, Andrea Jeremiah, Santhanam and Raai Laxmi in lead roles. According to the box office reports, the film has made a great collection of around Rs.10 Crore during the first two weeks after the release. This has prompted the makers to think about the film’s sequel and of course, the final shot of this film, where the image of a woman in black reveals that there is something still haunting the palace.
