Rajinikanth after completing Shankar’s 2.O started acting in Kaala directed by Pa Ranjith. The first schedule shooting commenced in Mumbai and was completed. Now the second schedule shooting is taking place in Mumbai. Since Rajini is acting in Kaala and 2.O simultaneously, there is a confusion among the people that which film will be released first.
At this juncture, it has been decided to release Kaala first. Since the post-production works of 2.O are being delayed it was decided to release the film for Pongal 2018. Since more delay is expected it has been decided to release 2.O for Tamil New Year’s day 2018. Official announcement regarding this is expected.
