Our Tamil people are yearning for a film like Bahubali 2 in Tamil. It seems that is going to be fulfilled since Sundar C has taken such a effort. Sundar C will be directing a film titled Sangamithra which is to be produced by Thenandal Films. Arya, Jayam Ravi, Shruthi Haasan and others will be starring in this film. The official announcement regarding this has already been done.
For those who say that Sundar C has so far directed only comedy and commercial films, there is news for them. Oscar Award winner A R Rahman composes music only for selective films that impresses him. Since he has agreed to compose music for this film, we should understand that how Sundar C would have convinced with him with his story.
The launching of Sangamithra film is to be done at the Cannes Film Festival next week. It is learnt that one portion of Cannes Film Festival is to be sponsored by Sangamithra group. A R Rahman, director Sundar C, actors and actresses will be participating at this function
