Director Mithran Jawahar used to direct Telugu re-make movies continuously for the last few years. Dhanush would be hero of those films without fail. But, Mithran just deviated from his way and directed the Malayalam movie ‘Thattathin Maraiyathu’(this movie earned National awards in 2012) as a re-make in Tamil having debutant hero. But, this was not successful.
He told at press meet before the movie’s release, “I will not direct re-make film hereafter”. So, the industry expected that he is going to provide a hit movie like Mohanraja. But, what happened finally?
Now, he again enters re-make area by directing Malayalam hit movie ‘100 Degree Celsius’ to Tamil. This is a women centric movie having 5 leading women characters. Lakshmi Rai and Nikesha Patel have been booked for this movie. The searching process for other women roles is going on now. It is said that they plan to commence shooting next month onwards.
