Manithan 1

This story is based on Salman Khan’s crime and conviction and release. We know that he killed some plotform habitants while driving a car in drunken condition and convicted and finally released without any punishment. If we try to define it exactly, we can say that it is the remake of Hindi movie ‘Jolly LLB’.

A young lawyer Udhayanithi who is searching for case in Pollachi moves to Chennai after vowing about his great future. He attends the case (same as Salman Khan) against the senior lawyer Prakashraj and takes the side of victims.

As expected before, he earns fame as well as troubles. Prakashraj put heavy pressure on Udhayanithi to withdraw from this case. What happened finally? That is climax…!

Udhaynithi performs his role very well as a jobless Pollachi lawyer. But he failed to change his mannerism and language during his debate in high court with senior lawyer Prakashraj. Hanshika has done her part appreciably.

Ishwarya Rajesh’s performance as a channel reporter is perfect. Prakashraj once again has proved his geniuses. Udhayanithi’s maternal uncle Vivek, canteen owner SangiliMurugan, constable Mylsamy, Prakashraj’s secret aid Krishna kumar are all good selections and done their job satisfactorily.

Justice Radharavi has taken responsibility of humor in this film. He garners the support of fans in his attitude and mannerism. We appreciate the attempt of director Ahmed. He has taken the subject that is it easy for a simple man of this country to get justice? But he should have to worked lot to make the story effectively logical and practical. However, it can be considered as a good entertainment movie.
