Actress Kalpana died in Hyderabad on 25th January. She had contributed so many films in Malayalam and Tamil. He was the heroine of Baghyaraj’s film ‘Chinnaveedu’. She got chance in Kamal’s movies like ‘Sathileelavathi’ and ‘Bammal K. Sambandam’.
“She was one of the three talented sisters. Kalpana and Oorvasi were performed in my films. I was much impressed by the performance of Kalpana. You can understand my personal lose with the demise of Kalpana. But, at this juncture, I say thanks to the science as we can watch and enjoy her talents and dedications as an actress through her movies.
She was simple and humorous. Though she was popular in her days, she had never shown off pretentious attitude to anyone. I feel sad very much personally. This same distress may prevail also with the Tamil and Malayalam film industries” Kamal utters.
