When it was spread that Vijay’s Puli will be hitting screens for the festive occasion of Diwali, it was a great moment for his fans that it would be yet another celebration, but now their excitements have doubled up as there is a confirmation that the film would hit screens on the birthday of Vijay, June 22. The film being a fantasy entertainer had recently a fascinating fact that Vijay is playing triple roles as cartoonist, commando and the third one being suspenseful. The entire team has been vividly shooting for this film without taking any break between the schedules.
Puli is directed by Chimbu Devan and is produced by Kerala’s leading distributor Thameems in collaboration with P.T. Selvakumar. Hansika Motwani and Shruthi Haasan are playing the female lead characters with versatile actress Sridevi, Kiccha Sudeep and many others playing prominent characterisations in this film. Devi Sri Prasad is composing music for this film that has cinematography handled by Natarajan of Sathuranga Vettai fame.
