Actor Karthi started shooting for Kadaikutty Singam right on the day ‘Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru’ was released. While only one song and some patch up works were pending, the Kollywood strike had put everything on hold.

Now the shooting of patch up works were recently completed in Pudukottai. Karthi will soon start shooting for his upcoming film tentatively titled Karthi 17.
Kadaikutty Singam is directed by Pandiraj and is produced by Suriya under the banner 2D Entertainment. Sayyeshaa Saigal is playing the female lead role and Sathyaraj would be appearing in an important role alongside Soori, Priya Bhavani Shankar and many more prominent actors.
D Imman is composing music for this film with Velraj handling cinematography
